Seasonal Customer Service Representative
We are looking for ridiculously passionate people who share our love of plants and are obsessed with the success of co-workers and customers. Ideal candidates will show up for work fresh and focused with an enthusiastic attitude and a ridiculous passion for learning.
This position offers seasonal, full-time or part-time hours. Weekend availability preferred.
Pay Range
$16-$18 per hour
This hourly, non-exempt role pay range represents the expected starting rate for this position. Actual pay will be based on factors such as skills, experience, and internal equity.

Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, attentive service.
- Accurately process transactions through point-of-sale systems
- Assist with curbside order fulfillment and customer pickup
- Communicate Tonkadale policies clearly and respectfully
- Respond to basic customer questions or concerns with leader support
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front-end workspace
- Pitch in with general store support tasks such as cleaning, pricing, or light projects as needed
- Follow established procedures, safety guidelines, and team expectations
Required Qualificaitons
- Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Physical requirements
This is a hands-on, active role that requires being on your feet for most of the workday. The position involves lifting and carrying 10–25 pounds repetitively, bending, reaching, pushing and pulling carts, and handling plant materials. This role requires the ability to work in hot, humid greenhouse conditions as well as varying outdoor weather conditions, and to remain hydrated throughout the shift.
