Art of Indigo w/ Parcel Arts

In this hands-on workshop, you’ll discover the fascinating history and science behind indigo dye. Learn how to mix and work with an indigo vat and explore the Japanese art of shibori - a traditional Japanese manual resist-dyeing technique that produces intricate pattens on fabric by folding, twisting, pleating, stitching, or binding cloth.

Leave with two, indigo-dyed scarves of your own, each uniquely patterned by you!

Carnivorous Bog Workshop

In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how bog ecosystems work and the secret to keeping carnivorous plants happy and thriving at home. Then, plant your own carnivorous bog - perfect for beginners and plant lovers alike.

$15.00, workshop fee includes: carnivorous plant soil & sphagnum moss. Pots and plants sold separately, so you can choose your perfect combo (no outside materials, please). Registration required.

Pumpkin Carving

10:00 am - 3:00 pm

Carve a pumpkin and leave the mess here! An all ages drop-in, fun for the whole family, workshop! Carving tools and decorating supplies provided. Costumes welcome!

We’re changing things up this year! Purchase your pumpkin ahead of time when you register. Participants can simply check, pick-a-pumpkin, and get to carving!
