Brightly color stems topped with large green leaves. These robust plants provide many harvest throughout the season.
Transplant. Sow indoors 4-6 weeks before last frost date and transplant at ~3 true leaves. Or sow 2 weeks before last frost and thin. Will produce all season long, but if foliage begins to get diseased consider tearing out and seeding a new crop early August for fall eating. Freezes well for winter eating if chopped and lightly steamed. For baby leaf production sow in a 2" band with 3-4 seeds per inch and 6-10" between bands. Sow every 2 weeks for a consistent harvest of baby leaves.
