James Wolfin, an entomologist and Conservation Specialist with Twin City Seed Company, helps you reimagine your yard as a greenspace that aims to promote the conservation of pollinators and natural resources. The content of this workshop covers the grasses and flowers that make up a bee lawn, the value that bee lawns provide to pollinators and our environment, and how to install a bee lawn as a DIY project.

PLANTING FOR POLLINATORS

James Wolfin, an entomologist and Conservation Specialist with Twin City Seed Company, teaches how to best design your yard to promote the conservation of pollinators. From project planning, to principles of design, project types, and installation this seminar covers a breadth of content with the hope of making DIY projects feel attainable. This workshop draws heavily on the teachings of the Lawns to Legumes program, a Minnesota State pollinator conservation initiative that our conservation specialist James Wolfin helped to administer before joining the Twin City Seed Team.
