A deciduous shrub with finely cut purple-black foliage and creamy pink flowers that give way to blackish red berries in the fall. Berries can be harvested to make elderberry wine or jam, or left on the plant to attract birds and other wildlife. It's narrow upright habit allows this to fit into most landscapes. Size: 6-10' tall x 4-5' wide.
