This native biennial is easily grown in a sunny garden. With masses ofred-orange daisy-like flowers with dark chocolate centers. If spent flowers are left on they will freely self-seed and usually naturalize for enjoyment year after year. Excellent in a naturalized area, cottage garden or prairie. Attracts butterflies.
