A drought tolerant grass popular for its maroon hues with rose-red plumes that age to flax color. The tidy, dense, clump form makes a dramatic effect when repeated in the landscape. Not hardy in our area, this grass is also commonly used in containers, either alone or paired with other sun-loving annuals.
