A compact, well-branched shrub very dark purple foliage. New growth emerges burgundy red. White flowers appear in spring followed by purple red dried fruits. Unique peeling bark adds to year-round interest. Excellent as a colorful shrub border. Size: 5' H x 4-5' W.
