A finely-textured ornamental grass with dark green blades that slowly fades to tan after the first frost. In summer tassels of reddish-brown flowers appear, then turn to silvery plumes in fall. Plumes continue for nice winter interest. Clumps together nicely. Excellent for adding texture to a sunny border and can be planted en masse as a privacy screen.
