A stunning ornamental grass with green blades that forms a dense upright clump. Feathery plumes emerge reddish brown in the spring and then turn golden in the fall. Blooms 2-3 weeks earlier than common feather reed grass. Excellent as a sunny accent or in a dramatic mass planting. Plumes are attractive in cut flower arrangements. Attracts birds.
