A graceful and airy maple with attractive burgundy foliage that turns scarlet in the fall, and red-black bark that provides year-round interest. Best color emerges in full sun. Leaves bud later in spring and can better withstand late frosts than other Japanese maple varieties. Suited for sunny garden beds.
