A deciduous shrub is a dwarf form of the popular 'Royal Purple' with reddish-purple foliage that shifts to a brilliant scarlet in autumn, as well as smoke-like plumes of pinkish purple seed clusters.. Foliage is scorch-resistant unless the conditions are extremely dry. Excellent as a small specimen tree or privacy screen.
