Mimicry plants, also known as mesembs, thrive in bright light and dry substrate. They prefer a fast draining substrate like sand or pumice. Stay away from peat based soils.
They can and should go months without watering in most cases, becuase they use their water reserves to create new growth.
Mimicry plants do not require fertilizer. In fact, too much of it is not good for the plant.
