Tonkadale is ridiculously passionate about what we do and obsessed with your success. We also like to have fun. And that, my friends, is why you are invited to our fall events.

Customer Appreciation Weekend

Girl in front of fairy garden

We start out the series with our favorite and yours: Customer Appreciation Weekend.  This is our chance to celebrate you with hot dogs, root beer floats and SALES. This year, we are doing things a little different.

It’s a progressive perennial sale starting Friday, Sept. 9. with a few rules to follow: no holds and no returns. Pinky promise. We are also adding a few more items to the sale, that never go on sale. We want to say thank you to our house plant people, too.

Workshops

An opportunity to create a finished product in our cozy workshop space. This year we are planting fall containers, creating wreaths and wall baskets and livin’ it up on fairy gardens! Expert tip: Fairy Garden Friday conveniently corresponds with MEA break. Kids, bring your adult. These are the workshop basics:

Workshops begin with a short, informational seminar detailing project materials, mechanics and design. Design staff will be available to assist you as you create and construct your item in our workshop space.

  • Registration is required for all workshops.
  • The workshop fee is paid upon completion of your project and does not include materials used.
  • Typical materials used are listed here on the workshop registration page.
  • No outside plants or materials, please.
  • Workshop participants always leave with a finished project they can be proud of!

When Underdog Rescue approached Tonkadale to host their annual fundraiser, of course we said YES! We have the space and are happy to share! Our furry friends are an important part of our community and Tonkadale has been dog friendly since the beginning of time. Our four legged friends are always welcome, as long as their owners behave!

When we come together, plant a plant, adopt a dog and drink a beer good things will happen.
