The 2017 Edibles Expo was off the charts!  It was a beautiful day full of all things edible.  Our brains were full of ideas and inspiration, our hearts were full of community and warmth and our bellies were full of cheese curds and smoothies!  The guests were gracious, our staff was top notch and the vendors and presenters were phenomenal.

And in case you were wondering, we’ll do it all again!  In the words of the Once-ler: “[We’re] going to keep on biggering and biggering…”  However, in this case, the words of the Lorax have always been perfectly clear: ” UNLESS someone like you (or me or us) cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better, it’s not.” — Dr. Seuss, The Lorax

Smoothie recipes for those interested:

Blueberry Rosemary Smoothie

1 cup water
1 cup frozen blueberries
1 cup spinach
1 sprig rosemary, chopped
Dash of salt
1 teaspoon honey

Add to blender in order listed.  Blend until smooth. Makes 20 oz. YUM!

Berry Basil Smoothie

1 cup frozen strawberries
1 cup frozen raspberries
1 cup fresh basil leaves
1 cup kale
2 cups sweetened vanilla almond milk

Add to blender in order listed.  Blend until smooth. Makes 20 oz. YUM!
