Objective:

To deliver and unload Tonkadale product from our growing range utilizing cargo van and 28 foot covered utility trailer. Driver should have 5 hours of availability per day to drive at least 3-6 days per week from April 25 – June 30.

Deliveires of Tonkdale product.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work independently and stay on task
  • Dependable and punctual
  • Current and valid driver"s license
  • Ability to obtain and maintain valid DOT health card
  • Ability to maintain a positive, freindly and helpful attitude
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to preform physical activites including repeatedly lifting 10-20 lbs
  • Previous experience with hauling trailers desired
  • Flexibility in scheduling with a minimum of 3 shifts per week

 Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to all traffic laws
  • Perform deliveries and pick-ups
  • Maintain current and valid Driver’s License
  • Obtain and maintain valid DOT health card
  • Maintain Driver’s Daily Log
  • Re-fuel vehicles
  • Complete 100 mile roundtrip with cargo van and 28 foot cargo trailer

Physical Requirements: This is a physical job that requires you to driving for up to 4 hours per shift. Must have the ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as lifting, bending, reaching, walking, pushing and pulling carts and handling and sorting of materials. Must be able to lift 10-20 lbs. repetitively. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to tolerate hot and humid conditions in the greenhouse and various weather conditions outside. Must hydrate as needed.
