‘Twas just before the holidays and throughout the greenhouse
Many creatures were stirring (Let’s hope not a mouse!)
Spruce top pots were displayed out front with care
In the hopes their new owners soon would be there.
The designers are ready to snuggle in their beds
They’re pooped and they’re ready for sweet dreams in their heads.

Aaaah, yes, it’s slowing down a bit here, but there is still much to be done for the upcoming holidays. With everyone so busy and enjoying the hustle and bustle of the season, we’d like to take this time to provide some simple and useful information. We’ll keep it short and sweet!

Gift cards

This really is a great option for loved ones who have everything or who prefer to choose for themselves. Far from impersonal, a Tonkadale gift card is a great way to let your loved one choose the perfect item, and because it will be exactly what they’ve been wanting they’ll think of you fondly. Give the gift of Tonkadale this holiday season or keep it for yourself. We won’t tell.

Gift cards can be purchased on site or at tonkadale.com, easy as pie. (By the way, do you have a favorite holiday pie? We like them all. Cookies, too.)

Loyalty points

All purchases (excluding gift cards) will earn you loyalty points! One dollar (not including tax) equals one loyalty point. Reach 200 points and earn $20 off your next purchase! There is no cost to join, the points never expire, and we keep track of everything for you so there is no card to carry or membership number to remember.

Holiday SALE!

The holiday sale starts Saturday, Dec. 17.

All holiday décor will be 50% off, including home décor, fresh greens, spruce top pots, wreaths and poinsettias.

Here we go! Do you have that one spot that could use a little something extra (or that one spot where you’re certain you can squeeze in one more thing) or a few more gifts to give?

Holiday and winter hours

Tonkadale will be closed the following days so everyone can spend time with their loved ones:

  • Monday, Dec. 19: Closing at 4 p.m. for our Employee Holiday Party.
  • Christmas Eve and Christmas Day: Closed.
  • New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day: Closed

January hours

Mondays: Closed

Tuesday – Friday: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Saturday: 8 am – 5 p.m.

Though January hours are slightly different, we’ll be here! Come enjoy your happy place, walk through the plants, sniff the soil, touch the foliage, and talk with your favorite plant people. Be the first to know what we are up to. We will be cleaning, building, painting, receiving spring inventory, growing our spring crops and moving stuff around. Free sunshine on sunny days, and humidity too.

See you at Tonkadale!
