Delivery
We are happy to offer delivery services to the metro area.
Inquire about delivery fees in the store at the time of your purchase.
Instalation and Set-up
Although we do not have a design and build division, we are able to assist you in setting up many of the items that we carry in the store. These items may include...large containers, fountains, statuary, benches, Christmas trees, etc.
The set-up fee is generally a percentage of the purchase price and usually runs between
10%-20%. Set-up fee is determined at the time of purchase and can vary based on the complexity of the items under consideration.
Custom Design
At Tonkadale, we have many talented designers on staff. We offer custom design services in the following categories...outdoor containers and hanging baskets, silk and permanent design including wreaths, centerpieces, home accents etc., and in the winter outdoor evergreen pots, wreaths, hanging baskets etc.
You are welcome to bring your own containers for us to fill or pick one out at the store. We are not able to work with material (fresh or permanent) that has been purchased with another retailer. Our designers are able to take time to understand your design vision, color pallet, and general scope of the project. We are anxious to meet your timeline for completion, but it is always best to plan ahead for a Custom Design project. Please empty all containers of potting soil...there is a $10.00 dumping fee for all pots that arrive full of old soil.
We accept Custom Design orders all year, but we will begin to accept requests for our two busy seasons (Spring and Winter) on the following dates:
Outdoor Spring Containers - March 1st
Outdoor Winter Containers - October 15th
Garden Consultations
Many of the members of our staff are experienced and knowledgable gardeners and designers. While we are always excited to assist you with your shopping, for more involved inqueries we are able to offer Garden Consultations. We charge $65.00/hour and are able to assit with container design, silk and permanent design, picking the right plant for the right location, annuals, perennials, planning a vegetable garden and more. Please schedule a meeting with the appropriate staff member in advance.
